Why I chose the path of an author...
Actually, God chose the path and it started
with my first published novel entitled SINGING WINDS. Each time I sit at my computer, He puts words in my heart and allows
them to flow through my fingers and onto my computer keys. My prayer is God will use my writing to bless others and draw readers
to Him.
When I submitted my first
manuscript to be published, I uttered a heart-felt prayer if just one person is blessed by "our" book, then I'll
be happy. The Lord has answered my prayer many times over.
As I walk this road as an author, God opens many doors along the way. Some of these
portals lead to new opportunities to serve others. In serving others, I serve God. A few winters ago, I became aware of a
great need in our own country. While many of us enjoyed safety and comfort in our homes, hundreds of people were without power
and water right here in the U.S.A. Summer is winding down and our neighbors to the north are facing another long, cold winter.
